Dhanteras 2027: What to Buy Other Than Gold
Gold isn't the only Dhanteras tradition. Here's what else to buy this year, and where to place it.
Dhanteras 2027 falls on Wed, 27 Oct 2027, two days before Diwali. Buying gold or silver on this day is the best-known custom, but Dhanteras is really about welcoming Dhanvantari and Goddess Lakshmi with any new, auspicious purchase for the home — and crystals, yantras and puja items are an increasingly popular, more affordable alternative to gold.
