How do I know which gemstone suits me by date of birth?+
In Vedic astrology your gemstone is chosen from your birth chart, not just your sun sign. The safest stone is usually that of your Lagna lord (Life Stone), followed by the 5th and 9th lords. Enter your date, time and place of birth above to calculate them instantly.
Can I find my lucky stone without my birth time?+
Yes. Without a birth time we use your Moon sign (Rashi), which changes only every 2.25 days, so it is usually reliable. Your Lagna changes roughly every two hours, so Life and Bhagya stones are most accurate with a known birth time.
Is this based on Western or Vedic astrology?+
It is fully Vedic (sidereal) astrology using the Lahiri ayanamsa, Whole-Sign houses and Vimshottari Dasha. Your Vedic sign is often one sign behind your Western sun sign — that is expected.
Should I wear the precious gem or a crystal substitute?+
Precious navaratnas (ruby, yellow sapphire, blue sapphire, etc.) are powerful and costly, so astrologers recommend confirming them with a personal consultation. Upratnas and crystals like citrine, amethyst or garnet are gentler, affordable alternatives many people start with.
