Couple Crystal Compatibility
Traditional Ashtakoot Guna Milan from both Moon nakshatras — plus the crystal pair that balances your elements. Takes 30 seconds.
Guna Milan uses the Moon's nakshatra — birth time helps but isn't critical.
How the Couple Crystal Compatibility works
Ashtakoot — the 8 kootas
Vedic matchmaking compares the Moon nakshatras of both partners across eight factors: Varna, Vashya, Tara, Yoni, Graha Maitri, Gana, Bhakoot and Nadi — a total of 36 points (gunas).
How to read the score
Traditionally 18+ gunas is acceptable, 25+ is very good and 32+ is excellent. Nadi and Bhakoot dosha carry extra weight, but classical texts list many cancellations, so a low score is a conversation starter, not a verdict.
Your bond crystals
We look at the elements of both Moon signs (fire, earth, air, water). Each pairing has a typical tension — passion vs stability, thinking vs feeling — and we suggest two crystals that traditionally soften it.
Frequently asked questions
How many gunas should match for marriage?+
Traditionally a minimum of 18 out of 36 gunas is considered acceptable, 25–32 is very good, and above 32 is excellent. Astrologers also check Mangal dosha and the full charts before a final decision.
What is Nadi dosha?+
Nadi dosha occurs when both partners share the same Nadi (Adi, Madhya or Antya). It scores 0 of 8 points. Traditional exceptions include the same Rashi with different nakshatras, or the same nakshatra with different Rashis.
Can we match kundli without birth time?+
Yes. Guna Milan uses the Moon's nakshatra, which changes about once a day, so the date and place are usually enough. If someone was born near a nakshatra change, the exact time matters.
Which crystal is best for couples?+
Rose quartz is the classic love stone, but the best pair depends on your elements. Fire–water couples often use rose quartz with black obsidian; earth–air couples use amazonite with red jasper. The tool picks yours automatically.
