Can Cancer Lagna wear Smoky Quartz?
Smoky Quartz (Dhumra Sphatik) is ruled by Rahu. Here's what Vedic astrology says for Cancer (Karka) rising.
Why
Rahu is a shadow planet and owns no sign, so it acts according to the house it occupies and the lord of that sign in your personal chart. For Cancer Lagna there is no blanket rule — Smoky Quartz can be very helpful during a Rahu Mahadasha or when Rahu sits in a good house, and unsettling otherwise. Because Smoky Quartz is a modern healing crystal rather than a Jyotish ratna, keeping it in your space (not worn as a ring) is a gentler way to use it.
Karka Lagna, ruled by the Moon, gives a protective, intuitive and deeply caring nature. Home and family are your foundation, and your moods follow the lunar tides.
